The pool lighting projector in detail

Designed with polycarbonate injection, the SeaMAID bulb is highly resistant to shocks, heat and chemical aggression of water treatment products.

Its optic is soldered using ultrasound, specifically developed for aquatic lighting. This ensures an excellent dispatch of light in the pool and harmonises the beam, keeping a comfortable, non-blinding light source for swimmers.

This projector is economic: SeaMAID LED bulbs use 20 times less power and have a lifespan 50 times superior to a classic incandescent bulb.

To ensure connection to the pools electrical system cable sections of 2 x 1,5mm² and a 20V AC toroidal transformer are obliged.

Plug & Play patent

SeaMAID presents its easy to install, "Plug & Play" patented pool projector line.

Compared to an incandescent bulb, LED technology guarantees quality lighting with a long lifespan and reduced consumption.

This projector has been designed to be screwed onto a pool brush adaptor. We recommend installation during the pool construction.

The back of the units support is equipped with 1,5" male threading, so installation is simplified and does not require the use of specific tools.

The "Plug & Play" system of SeaMAID simplifies the winterizing process. When preparing your pool for winter a quarter-turn of the projector is enough to remove and store in a sheltered place. A plug cap will protect the tubular section from all corrosive damage.

In Springtime, the projector is easily and quickly put back into place.

The force of SeaMAID

SeaMAID uses a renowned, active Research & Development department that is equipped with a unique testing lab : A subaquatic measurement device designed in collaboration CSTB, Nantes, France and the National Testing Laboratory (Laboratoire National d'Essais -LNE). Using this device, SeaMAID can precisely measure the true lumen of its lighting systems in their operational environment as requested in the European regulation 1194.

The test results are incontestable and correspond to the reality of operational lighting in an aquatic environment.

*These figures are an indication and can vary depending on use. We can consider a flat projector, used for 4 hours per evening for 6 months of the year has a lifespan of 20 years.

Installation of the lighting projector

Before any installation, it is important to check the pool is equipped with a 1,5" brush adaptor, compatible with the projector system.

1. Before all operation cut the lighting projectors power supply
2. Remove the projector cover unscrewing the 3 support screws
3. Pass the cable through the projectors wall taking care to slide cable duct right up to the junction box
4. Screw the support till completely tightened on the brush adaptor
5. Place the projector cover back into place and secure using the 3 supplied screws
6. Connect the cable of the projector to the electrical supply
7. Roll the surplus of cable into the junction box and close
8. Turn back on the power supply. The projector works
