Heat exchanger CLIMEXEL is designed to be mounted in the by-pass line of the boiler or heat pump circuit. It is available in the body only version (ET-NU), or alternatively, equipped with a circulating pump and temperature electronic regulator - version (ET-CA) contained within an ingeniously designed housing. Spiral plate heat exchangers made of TITANIUM generate excellent yield thanks to the large exchange surface.
The pre-assembled version of the CLIMEXEL heat exchanger is equipped with all the necessary equipment ready to be mounted to the filtration circuit.

What is a heat exchanger?

Heat exchanger is a device specifically designed to heat. Essentially, these are two flat plates wound into a double spiral with a space between them to accommodate fluid flow. Within the exchanger, two isolated hydraulic circuits are arranged in a counter flow configuration to transfer heat from primary circuit to the secondary one.
Heat exchanger is often the most economical device for swimming pool heating. It is linked to the house boiler so that heat is supplied to the pool when it is not required for the house. The advantages of heat exchangers are the lack of any subsequent maintenance and the compact design which, being wall mounted, takes up a minimum of space.

Technical data Version ET-NU
Titanium plate heat exchanger is totally compatible with every type of water treatment, including salt electrolysis. Guaranteed 5 years. The body of the heat exchanger is made of synthetic resin. Comes with two adaptor unions, Ø50 or Ø63mm, for the secondary circuit.

ET-CA version includes as well:
- Finger touch digital LCD screen for easy water temperature control.
- Circulating pump for the primary circuit.
- Two cut-off valves mounted on the primary circuit, one mounted with an anti-thermosiphon check valve, drain valve,
- All the electrical cabling necessary to operate the heat exchanger CLIMEXEL.
