Solar

During the day the cover absorbs the sun's calories and keeps this accumulated energy creating isolating air layer which prevents the water from cooling down over the night. Your pool water is heated directly by the sun prolonging considerably your swimming season.

Opaque

It stops the light from penetrating the pool and prevents from algae development and pathogenic agents. It reduces chemical consumption, saving you money.

WALU POOL barred security covers are designed as reliable safety equipment for all users of the swimming pool. Half-round anodized aluminium bars are placed on the pool coping outer extremities. Modular reinforced, anti-abrasion composite bars with fastening and tension system for maximum security.

Materials

- Anodized aluminium bars.
- PVC interchangeable woven fabric (patent pending) combined with aluminium bars.
- PVC fabric 650g/m2 reinforced, UV stabilized, anti-abrasion and stain-resistant available in blue opaque version.
- WALU EVOLUTION adapts to the majority of pool shapes.
- Maximum width 5m and maximum length 11m with stairs. Consult us for any other shape other than a rectangle.

Functioning and storage

WALU POOL can be rolled on/rolled off with folding manual crank and takes very little space. It can be pulled off within a minute so that you can enjoy your pool whenever you wish. Pools equal or superior to dimensions 9 x 4,5 m are delivered with two manual cranks as to roll the cover up two persons are needed. To roll it up easily we recommend the motorized crank.

Motorized crank (powered by 24V battery) is available as optional equipment to make your life easier and roll-up your cover without any effort in 2 to 3 minutes.

Protection WALU POOL cover prevents from letting in leaves or debris thanks to its patented design of outer edge eyelets fastened to the pool coping. Consequently, you can enjoy crystal clean water all year round as WALU POOL cover replaces solar blanket, winter cover or any other security system.

Modular panels

WALU POOL Evolution is the only swimming pool cover with interchangeable bars and panels. Exclusive patented system: The cover’s panels and anodised aluminium tubes are interchangeable and so can be replaced easily, if necessary. Your swimming pool system is always safe and looks attractive.

Warranty and Maintenance

All the components of the cover as well as the fastening elements must be inspected twice a year. A supplement check is necessary if the cover has been under heavy strain due to nasty weather conditions or following an accidental fall into the pool. As WALU POOL cover consists of interchangeable bars and panels, all deteriorated or worn elements can immediately be replaced with new ones without taking the risk of using a pool that is not secure. In case you had a doubt concerning your cover security, contact your local pool installer.
In the meantime make sure that the site perimeter is properly secured and all access to the pool is blocked.

Safety measures

WALU POOL security cover installation does not relieve you from the responsibilities of supervision of young children and from taking precautions to prevent the risk of drowning. It is essential for their safety that the cover remains rolled-up at all times when the pool is not in use.
