CLIMEXEL stainless steel heat exchanger in detail
The CLIMEXEL heat exchanger is the ideal solution to heat your pool water. You can use the energy from your domestic heating system or your heat pump to heat your pool water. Designed for use with a by-pass system on a boiler or heat pump circuit. Available as unequipped ET-NU version or equipped ET-CA version which uses an electronic regulation system that allows you to automatically regulate the temperature of your pool. A spiral, plate exchanger is made from stainless steel offering a high-performance by means of a large surface of thermal exchange. The equipped version features all elements that are needed for the heat exchangers operation and is entirely pre-installed for connection to the domestic heating circuit.
How does a heat exchanger work?
Two hydraulic circuits circulate in opposite directions in a heat exchanger. The primary domestic heating circuit produces hot water between 40 to 80°C, depending on the source of heat (heat pump, boiler...). The secondary circuit is related to the swimming pool and is heated by contact with the primary circuit by contact with the exchanger's stainless steel plates.

CLIMEXEL heat exchangers are equipped with stainless steel plates to:
- Create a bigger exchange surface than a tube exchanger (for better performance).
- Create compatibility with many water treatment systems (chlorine, bromine...) excepting salt.
Thermal plates are positioned at the heart of the exchanger which is a CLIMEXEL exclusivity, offering a superior thermal exchange to tubular exchangers.

The equipped version of the exchanger includes all the characteristics of the unequipped version with the following in addition:
1 precise aquastat with digital display of water temperature and set point,
1 pump for primary circuit,
2 isolating valves, 1 of which is equipped with an anti-thermosiphon check valve
1 purge valve,
All electrical cabling required for the correct operation of the unit.
