The Astral VIRON cartridge filters respect the environment whilst ensuring the use of your pool or spa in the most optimised comfortable conditions. Filtering the water in an optimal manner, so you can swim in pure, crystalline water.
The filtering capacity of Astral VIRON is that of a sand filter, with the advantages of a cartridge filter, without the need for backwash cycles.
Astral VIRON CL 400 and CL 600 have been conceived to minimise maintenance. In residential, average sized pools, cleaning is required once a year under normal conditions of use.
The Astral VIRON cartridge filter is available in 2 models depending on the surface area to filter : CL 400 and CL 600
The design of the VIRON filters (Austrailian brand) is the result of many years of filtration research in austral climatic conditions.
VIRON filters do not require back-wash, economising the volume of water used per annum. They are adapted to pools that do not have access to a public drain system.
Cartridge access is effectuated easily by unscrewing the upper access panel.

The design of the VIRON filters (Austrailian brand) is the result of many years of filtration research in austral climatic conditions.

Astral VIRON filters use two 50mm double connections :
- Two entry orifices, from the pump, situated on the top of the filter.
- Two outlet orifices situated on the opposite side of the filter.
The inlets and outlets are clearly marked on the tank. Depending on the required flow, the inlet and outlet not used will remain capped. For installations requiring a flow greater than 350 liters per minute (21 m3/h), the inlet and outlet orifices can be used to obtain a maximum flow of 700 litres per minute (42 m3/h)
