How does a dehumidifier work

Sirocco 80 Ambiance built-in dehumidifier for a maximum surface area of 30 m².

The Sirocco 80 from Zodiac PSA is a monoblock unit which can maintain your indoor pool area with an ambient humidity rate of 60 to 70 %. This ensures total user comfort and avoids structural damage caused by humidity to your building. By means of a thermodynamic circuit (air/air heat pump) you transform warm, humid air into warmer, dry air. This dehumidifier "recycles" air rather than "renewing" air. This method clearly reduces energy consumption and therefore, running costs.

The Sirocco is installed using a wall crossing kit in the room next to where the pool is situated. Heating options are available: either by hot water battery or by electric resistances. Humidity control for indoor pools on a closed circuit. The atmosphere of the pool area is dry and comfortable. Condensation is limited and structural damage caused by excessive humidity is avoided.

Hygro Control technology

This control panel allows you to regulate the humidity rate. You can also choose to maintain the standard humidity rate of 65%. The control panel also offers the possibility of thermostat regulation for models featuring the electric heater.
